Your AI agent doesn't need a paid image API or a credit-based AI platform. FlowAGENT lets Claude Code, Codex and Cursor create unlimited images at ₹0 each — and videos — through your own Flow account, and saves every file to your computer.
Images ₹0 · videos from your Flow plan · FlowAGENT free, or Pro ₹99/month · ₹599/year — nothing auto-renews

Plugs into the agent you already use
Why pay per image?
Image APIs and credit-based AI platforms charge for each image and each video — and an agent can burn through hundreds in one run. FlowAGENT plugs your agent into your own Flow account instead.
*Images used 0 Flow credits on the Flow plans we tested (October 2026); Google may change this. Videos use your Flow plan's credits. Flow's own fair-use limits still apply.

Every image here came out of FlowAGENT — twelve prompts, four at a time, saved straight to disk. Hover to see the prompt.

Made with FlowAGENT on a normal Flow plan. Your results depend on your prompts and your Flow account.
How it works
Install the FlowAGENT extension and open Flow, signed in. Keep it visible — one click puts it beside your editor.
Copy the setup prompt below into your agent. It installs FlowAGENT, connects itself and checks everything works.
“20 thumbnails for my blog.” “An 8-second 9:16 reel of a diya.” Files land in Downloads/FlowAGENT.
Please install FlowAGENT on this computer and connect it to you (my AI coding agent), so you can make images and videos for me with my own signed-in Flow account (flow.google.com). No API key and no extra cost.
How to work through this:
- It is safe to run again: check each step first and skip what is already done. Never reinstall or use --force on something that works.
- If your commands normally run in a sandbox (Codex does), run every command below outside it and ask me to approve each one from the start. The install needs the network, my global npm folder and a local port; inside a sandbox it fails with misleading errors such as "not recognized", "Cannot find module" or "Access is denied".
- On Windows, always type npm.cmd and flowagent.cmd instead of npm and flowagent. PowerShell often refuses the plain names with "running scripts is disabled on this system"; the .cmd versions work everywhere.
- Install only Node.js and FlowAGENT — no other packages, version managers, build tools or scripts piped from the internet. If something else seems necessary, stop and ask me.
- If a step fails, tell me in plain words what went wrong and what I should do, and put the raw error underneath.
1. Is it installed already? Run: flowagent --version
If it prints a version number, go to step 4.
2. Node.js 20 or newer. Run: node --version
v20 or higher: go to step 3. Missing or older: install it now without asking me (pasting this prompt is my permission) and say what you are doing in one line.
- Windows: winget install OpenJS.NodeJS.LTS --accept-source-agreements --accept-package-agreements
No winget? Ask me to download the LTS installer from https://nodejs.org and click through it.
Afterwards open a NEW terminal before step 3, otherwise npm will not be found.
- macOS: brew install node if Homebrew is already there. If not, do not install Homebrew; ask me to run the LTS installer from https://nodejs.org.
- Linux: nvm install --lts if nvm is already there; otherwise my distribution's package manager (for example sudo apt install -y nodejs npm, or sudo dnf install -y nodejs). Check node --version again: below 20 means stop and send me to https://nodejs.org/en/download.
If the system asks for my password or opens an installer window, tell me and wait.
3. Install FlowAGENT (it contains the bridge, the MCP server and the Chrome extension files):
npm install -g --prefer-online https://flowagent.master401200.workers.dev/flowagent.tgz
- "EEXIST" or "already exists": it is installed, carry on.
- EACCES or EPERM: on Windows ask me to open the terminal as Administrator once and run it again. On macOS or Linux do NOT use sudo; tell me global installs need a Node.js I own (nvm or fnm) and let me decide.
4. Connect FlowAGENT to yourself: flowagent setup
It finds the AI agents on this computer (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Claude Desktop), writes their user-level settings (not this project's), and starts the bridge automatically with my computer.
5. Browser — give me these steps one per line, then wait until I say done:
- If FlowAGENT is not in Chrome yet: open https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/flowagent/dienlhpcdmbflfnljhpnhdackigmgacd and click "Add to Chrome".
- Open https://flow.google.com and sign in.
- Keep that window visible, next to your editor or on a second screen. Chrome slows down hidden or minimised tabs and generation stalls. The FlowAGENT icon → "Arrange side by side" does this in one click.
6. Check it: flowagent status
- "extension: connected" and the Flow tab shows "(visible)": tell me straight away, in your own next message, "Connected! I can make images and videos now — just ask." (only this first time).
- The Flow tab is "hidden": ask me to bring the Flow window to the front.
- No extension or no Flow tab: repeat the step 5 checklist and wait for me.
- "OUTDATED": ask me to press reload on FlowAGENT in chrome://extensions and refresh the Flow tab.
For a deeper check run flowagent doctor and explain the result simply.
7. Tell me to restart you so the FlowAGENT tools load.
From then on:
- If a command says the free plan's daily limit is reached, stop. Do not retry or work around it. Tell me it resets tomorrow and give me the upgrade link it printed (Pro is ₹99 a month or ₹599 a year).
- If a job times out or says the extension is not connected, do not keep retrying. Ask me to check that the Flow tab is open, signed in and visible.
When everything works, confirm in one line and get started — no recap of these steps. I will simply ask for things like "4 product photos of my bracelet on a marble table" or "an 8-second 9:16 video of a diya being lit".Prefer a terminal? npm install -g https://flowagent.master401200.workers.dev/flowagent.tgz then flowagent setup

FlowAGENT never charges per image or per video. On the Flow plans we tested, image generation used 0 Flow credits; videos use your Flow plan's credits, exactly as when you use Flow by hand. Google sets those rules and may change them, and Flow's own fair-use limits still apply.
